Each throw is unique, hand-woven on a traditional wooden loom by native Andean women who personally inspect and select the fiber and are paid a living wage. Three color ways--cream, silver, and celadon—are created using Oeko-Tex Standard 100 dyes. Yarn is purchased through the Mirasol Project, a fair trade organization which provides a living wage to the shepherds of the alpacas.
