Curated by industry experts, NY NOW’s themed exhibits showcase the very best in home and lifestyle products in exceptionally merchandised vignettes.
Extend visibility for your new, and on-trend, products through participation in NY NOW’s on-site displays and product awards. These FREE opportunities can boost product awareness and increase booth traffic, as well as offering special exposure to trade and consumer media. Plan ahead! These opportunities require advance registration to participate.

Promote your new products through special at-Market displays. Participation is free, but some of these displays require advance acceptance, and all require products to be pre-shipped through the Freeman warehouse.
- sustainability: design for a better world®, spotlighting eco-friendly and socially-responsible products and producers. Advance submission and acceptance required. Exhibitors will be notified by email once submissions open for the Summer 2017 market.
- destination: new will highlight products new to the market as of March 1, 2017. Open to all exhibitors. If you have a new product introduction, you are invited to participate in the destination:new display. All submitted products must be new to the market as of March 1, 2017, in order to be eligible for consideration. PARTICIPATION IS FREE, but you must formerly enter your participation through this Entry Form, and specify one product for the display. A single entry should represent no more than one single item or one set of items packaged together for retail sale. The product choices are subject to review and discretion of the display designer. Exhibitors will be notified by email once submissions open for the Summer 2017 market.

We provide a listing of publications and issue dates, along details about images and information required by editors, to make it easy for you. Editorial promotion is FREE. All you have to do is enter your submissions by the published deadlines. Read here for complete list.

This list of key home and lifestyle trade publication is a great starting point for your pre-show outreach, as well as your year-round communication with industry press. We provide you with publication names and contact information for key editors. These media outlets will be most interested in your announcements about show participation, new product introductions and interesting company back-stories. . Read here for complete details. For a listing of all media currently registered to attend NY NOW, please send an email with your company name and booth number to email@example.com.
Create a press kit with information about your company and your new products as a tool for editors to use. If you don’t know what to include in a press kit, we offer some “Press Kit Basics” with tips & tools you can use to get started. Here are press kit basics for you to review, and read here for helpful tips on writing a press release: “Polish Your Press Release Writing Skills.”
Be sure to deliver your press kits to the NY NOW Press Center, the central check-in point for all editors visiting NY NOW. The NY NOW Press Center, which is open during all Show days and hours, is located on the Javits Center’s 4A Terrace (4th Floor at 38th Street entrance). We recommend that you deliver 25-30 press kits during set-up; and that you keep another 10 kits in reserve for press who visit your booth.
