NY NOW EXPANDS EXHIBITOR “MARKET READINESS” TRAINING
Two New On-Demand Subjects Augment the Nine-Part Webinar Series
WHITE PLAINS, NY, October 10 2014… The winter 2015 edition of NY NOW®, The Market for Home + Lifestyle, will offer its exhibitors an expanded “Market Readiness” program featuring a series of nine free, pre-Market on-demand webinars and free, at-Market 15-minute business consultations. The multi-part series, which is produced jointly by NY NOW and Right Angle Strategies, will address booth display, tradeshow operations, marketing and sales strategies and lead follow-up, as well as two new sessions focusing on social media and B2B wholesale selling.

Two new webinars, which address social media strategies and B2B wholesale selling, will be available to NY NOW exhibitors in the coming weeks. The social media session, presented by Stephanie-Leon Santiago of Emerald Expositions, will outline use of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to promote tradeshow participation. Stu Teller and Laura Blunt, principals of Right Angle Strategies, will present the B2B wholesale selling session with topics including pricing, margins, logistics and more.
The existing webinar series, which is available for free download at any time through the NY NOW website, includes seven 15 to 45-minute webinars focusing on pre-show marketing, sales techniques, booth display and tradeshow operations, as well as post-Market follow-up. In addition to audio/video instruction, the webinars offer related check-lists detailing key action items and deadlines specific to the winter 2015 Market.
The webinars will be produced jointly by NY NOW and Right Angle Strategies, a business strategy and coaching consultancy led by gift and home industry veterans Stu Teller and Laura Blunt. As an added benefit, Right Angle Strategies will offer free, in-booth 15-minute business consultations at Market for all exhibitors.
The winter 2015 edition of NY NOW, the Market for Home + Lifestyle, will run Saturday, January 31, through Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at New York City’s Jacob K.
