WHITE PLAINS, NY, August 3, 2015… A robust lineup of new and returning fashion-forward bed, bath and linen exhibitors will be offered to retailers at the summer 2015 Home Textiles Market Week® in New York, August 15-19, 2015, at two New York City locations: 230 Fifth Avenue and NY NOW®, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Beyond exhibits, the Market Week also will offer participants a full slate of educational seminars addressing design and color trends, as well as new product awards spotlighting outstanding design and utility.

“Home Textiles Market Week features an outstanding roster of leading industry suppliers, as well as a wealth of innovative and emerging newcomers,” said Randi Mohr, NY NOW co-director and vice president. “Together, NY NOW and 230 Fifth Avenue present the nation’s largest concentration of better home décor suppliers, which along with a full slate of complementary programs and events, presents a comprehensive market experience for participants.”

Eclectic and innovative home fashion vendors will be presented at NY NOW, with a concentration of approximately 200 suppliers appearing within the HOME Collection’s Home Furnishings + Textiles. In addition, NY NOW juried sections – Accent on Design®and the HANDMADE Collection’s Handmade® Designer Maker and Handmade® Global Design – also will showcase contemporary design and handcrafted home fashions.

More than 25 new home fashion vendors will participate in the summer 2015 NY NOW. Newcomers include: Aandaz, airweave Inc., Alashan Cashmere Company, ALPAKA, Amalia Home Collection, Asher Market, Auskin USA, Avoca, Ayadeena, Betsy Olmsted Print & Repeat Design, Better Trends, Beulah – Home; Biscuit Home, Charvet Editions, DECOFLUX, Designs by Sudi, Down Inc, FLUF, Frog Hill Designs, Guidery, Langdon Ltd., Leather All (HK) Ltd, Mari Ann Silk, Modelli Creations, Piper-Collection and Sanctuary Boutique Linens.

These newcomers join a strong suite of some 15+ vendors returning to NY NOW following an absence from the New York Market, including Binntu Inc., Bronte by Moon, a division of Abraham Moon & Sons, Bunglo by Shay Spaniola, DENY Designs, Dmemoir, DownTown Co., Hamburg House Inc., Johanna Howard, K & K Tabletops, Kiska Textiles, Shantalle’s Studio, Sivaana Luxe-Table Linen, Textile City Inc., V.P. Designs, Ltd. and Versai.

In addition to new and returning companies, eight veteran exhibitors are expanding their presence for the summer 2015 Market. Exhibitors taking larger exhibit space for August are: Ann Gish, Eselle Collection, Henry Handwork, Kerry Cassill DBA Paisley Label by Kerry Cassill, Scents and Feel, sefte, Simple Things Ltd. and V RUGS & HOME. At 230 Fifth Avenue, Chortex USA debuts this summer, joining other notable home fashions suppliers with showrooms including: Belle Epoque, Designers Guild, Eke USA, Euroletto Linens and Home, Harper Group, Home Source International, Isaac Jacobs International, J.T. Rose & Co. Beyond exhibits, seminars, displays and award programs will deliver a comprehensive home fashions market experience for participants. Highlights include the fourth annual “Open House” display, showcasing 100 home and lifestyle products in four key trends — Bijoux, Ephemera, Footloose and Mixed Bag. A related seminar, “Open House — What’s Hot in Home?” on Sunday, August 16, will explore the trends in more detail. In addition, the Home Textiles Market Week Best New Products Awards will recognize excellence in four categories – Bath, Bed, Dining and Home Accessories – along with one overall “Best of Market” distinction. A panel of trade and consumer editors will select winners and finalists based on criteria including innovation in design, creative use of materials/construction and new fiber, material or technology. These five products will compete for “Best of HOME” honors, determined by online voting during the Market.
