“BEST OF HOME” & “BEST OF LIFESTYLE” AWARDS PRESENTED TO TWO NY NOW EXHIBITORS
Define Bottle by Define Bottle & Pop up House Fort by nhocchi Recognized Via Peoples’ Choice Voting
NEW YORK, NY, August 20, 2014… Two products – Define Bottle by Define Bottle and Pop up House Fort by nhocchi™ – were named “Best of HOME” and “Best of LIFESTYLE” Award winners today, in connection with NY NOW®, the Market for Home + Lifestyle (formerly NYIGF®). The summer 2014 edition of NY NOW ran runs through Wednesday, August 20, at 2pm, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
“NY NOW presents thousands of new, innovative, on-trend home and lifestyle resources, and these two products have been selected by popular voting to be the best of the best,” said Christian Falkenberg, NY NOW director and senior vice president. “Judging began with trade and consumer editors determining winners in four category-specific awards, and the process culminated with popular online balloting to identify the top two products.”

BEST OF HOME: Define | Bottle (Virginia Beach, VA) for its Define Bottle, an eco-friendly water bottle that allows users to take nutrient-rich, fruit-infused water to go. The Define Bottle was originally selected by a panel of trade and consumer editors as the Kitchen Preparation category winner in NY NOW’s Tabletop + Gourmet Housewares Best New Product Awards.
BEST OF LIFESTYLE: nhocchi™ (New York, NY) for its Pop up House Fort, which is portable, packable, easy to set up and hangs for easy storage. The toy is handmade and hand embroidered with 100 percent cotton. The Pop up House Fort was originally selected by a panel of trade and consumer editors as the Toy category winner in NY NOW’s Baby + Child Best New Product Awards.
The winter 2015 edition of NY NOW, the Market for Home + Lifestyle, will run Saturday, January 31, through Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal’s Pier 94. NY NOW’s four comprehensive collections – HOME, LIFESTYLE, HANDMADE and NEW! – encompass 100,000 products in 400+ product categories.
