Taking place February 3-7, 2018 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, NY NOW will feature more than 2,300 exhibitors, which includes 445 international exhibitors across 45 different countries and spanning six continents. At the winter 2018 edition in particular, NY NOW will welcome a number of new international brands throughout the market, including a number of new exhibitors to the Accent on Design® and Artisan Resource® sections.

As part of NY NOW’s HANDMADE Collection, Artisan Resource connects U.S.-based importers with international producers and exporters. Exhibitors in this section will showcase products in a wide range of categories including gift, home decor, textiles, tabletop, stationery, jewelry, apparel and fashion accessories. The materials are equally diverse and feature products made from ceramics, glass, metal, leather, natural fibers, recycled materials and paper, and more. Exhibitors are carefully selected to participate in this section based on their commitment to design innovation, cultural preservation, social enterprise and sustainability experience. helps women find gainful job opportunities after leaving a life of prostitution. The
women develop scarves and various styles of jewelry for clients around the world
and all profitgoes back into the program to further the company’s rehabilitation
efforts.

accessories including ceramics, textiles, mirrors, clothes, shoes and bags.
      •      Red Transdisciplinaria de Desarrollo Sustentable (Booth #3775; NEW;
Mexico) – A sustainable initiative that works with indigenous women from Santa
Fe de laLaguna, Michoacan in Mexico to create various types of pottery. Colors
are made with natural soil and the lead-free glaze and cooking part was made
with traditional techniques in efficient firewood ovens.

Lastly, the Handmade® Global Design section is unique to NY NOW and provides attendees with a dedicated day on Saturday, February 3 to exclusively immerse themselves in compelling trends. Exhibitors are hand-selected and will showcase authentic designs, from traditional to modern, that have been handmade through global artisan cooperatives and represent the epitome of quality craftsmanship. The winter 2018 edition of NY NOW®, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift, will take place February 3-7, 2018 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
