NEW YORK, NY, August 18, 2015…The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) NY Metro Chapter recognized seven HOME Collection exhibitors as the “Best of the Best” at the summer 2015 edition of NY NOW®, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift, which runs through Wednesday, August 19, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

“The ASID NY Metro Chapter ‘Best of the Best’ awards allow us to spotlight the cream of the crop across a variety of product categories that are of relevance to interior designers,” said ASID NY Metro Chapter President, Phyllis Harbinger, ASID, CID, NCIDQ, of Design Concepts Interiors. “In the rapidly changing world of interior design, NY NOW’s HOME collection is a vital resource for many industry professionals to see designers’ visions come to life in tangible ways. Founded in 1975, ASID is a professional organization with more than 40,000 members in the U.S. and Canada and comprised of practicing interior designers, design students and industry representatives. ASID’s community of interior design professionals must pass rigorous acceptance standards: a combination of accredited design education and/or full-time work experience.
