– The Spiral Pulley by stôn by Latondra
Receives Prestigious Award at Summer 2018 Market –

NEW YORK, NY. — August 14, 2018 — NY NOW®, the Market for
Home, Lifestyle + Gift
, in conjunction with Gifts and Decorative
Accessories
announced today the winner of the “Best in Market” Award. The
Spiral Pulley by stôn by Latondra received the honor at the NY NOW summer 2018
market and is on display now in the Handmade® Designer Maker section
(Booth #1215) at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center through 3
p.m., August 15.

“This is stôn’s first exhibit at NY NOW. We’ve been pleasantly surprised by how
easy it is to become part of a community of artisans who uplift each other and
how easy it is to forge new relationships with buyers. Our experience here
makes this recognition especially gratifying,” said Latondra “Ton” Newton,
Owner/Designer of stôn by Latondra.

The Spiral Pulley is cast in solid, 18k yellow gold, and measures 40 mm. The
pendant is set with brilliant white diamonds which glides along an 18 inch, 18k
yellow chain. stôn by Latondra makes sculpted jewelry with presence, for women
and men who believe that their jewelry should be as unique as they are. Each
stôn piece reflects the Company’s devotion to craftsmanship, sustainable
sources and practices, and design aesthetic.

The “Best in Market” Award recognizes one extraordinary product that stood out
among the ten category winners of the “Best New Product” Awards. This year, the
ten category winners from the “Best New Product” Awards were evaluated by
Lenise Willis and Alex Herring of Gifts and Decorative Accessories
before a winner was selected.

“When judging among the amazing products found at NY NOW, I paid close
attention to the quality and innovation of each,” said Alex Herring, Senior
Editor and Fashion Expert for Gifts and Decorative Accessories. “The
Spiral Pulley is not only a stunning piece of handcrafted jewelry, it also
provides an innovative solution to a problem many jewelry wearers face – that
of having to readjust a pendant. The pulley design ensures that the pendant
moves with the wearer.”
