The Artisan Experience – Only at NY NOW
A debut handcrafted experience announced for the winter
2019 market
New York, NY—January 25, 2019 — NY NOW
is pleased to announce its debut of the Artisan Experience happening live at
its winter market, February 3-6 in New York City.
Artisans of NY NOW’s HANDMADE Collection will offer live
demonstrations, throughout all days of the market, giving a glimpse
into how they craft their one-of-a-kind handmade products. Buyers will
enjoy this first ever opportunity to see these artisan exhibitors truly
demonstrate their art and how the unique and innovative products they
purchase and order at the market are created. These special
demonstrations will also provide a story for retailers to share with
customers about the detail and personal touch that goes into these
handmade designs.
“We are thrilled to add this new experience to the winter market and
know this will create a truly unique experience for buyers,” said
Allison Garafalo, Director of the HANDMADE Collection at NY NOW, who
along with HANDMADE Collection Manager Ashley Ciofrone,
curated this new experiential activation for the winter market.
She continued, “It should feel similar to visiting an artisan’s studio
and really seeing from idea to final design how unique products come
into being.”
