Winners Chosen from Curated Product Displays at Summer 2018 Market -
NEW YORK, NY. — August 15, 2018 — NY NOW®, the Market for
Home, Lifestyle + Gift, is excited to announce the winners of its
semi-annual Eco Choice Awards as well as the recipient for the Best Exclusive
Launch Award. The winners were selected from the sustainability: design
for a better world® and destination:new product displays,
respectively.
“NY NOW’s product displays are a must-see for buyers because they showcase
areas of increasing interest and importance - new launches and eco-friendly

product display attracted submissions from all three collections - HOME,
LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE - of the expansive summer 2018 market and each entry
underwent a rigorous qualifying process before being selected for inclusion in
the curated product display. All participating products in the display were
eligible for the Eco Choice Awards program. The winners are:
Entries were evaluated onsite at NY NOW earlier this week by
retail and industry expert Susan Tucker of BYDYZNE Consulting. The winning
products will remain on display within NY NOW’s sustainability: design
for a better world® exhibit throughout the duration of the
Market; each product is showcased alongside details about their provenance and
production process. These “back-stories” highlight the green elements of the
production process such as the use of renewable or alternative sources of
energy in production, including wind, sun, and alternative fuels.
NY NOW’s “Best Exclusive Launch” Award
Additionally, NY NOW announced today the winner of its “Best Exclusive Launch”
Award. This honor recognizes a standout product that is making its official
debut exclusively at the summer 2018 market and was selected as part of the
destination:new product display. The winner is:

judged by a panels of industry experts and members of the media including Paula
Flynn of The Shopkeepers; Will Price of Gear Patrol; and Kana Sugamori of OK!
Japan.
